Dorothy Fay (ALLINSON) NASH

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy Fay Nash (née Alinson). Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully departed this life on December 14, 2018 at the age of 84 years at the Rosetown & District Health Centre.

Dorothy was born in Beechy, SK on June 23, 1934. She moved to Valley Centre in 1952 where she met her husband Merrill Nash. Together they raised six children on the family farm.

Dorothy loved gardening, collecting salt and pepper shakers, listening and watching the birds, but mostly being surrounded by her family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Merrill of 66 years; children Lynn (Sharon) Nash and their children Bradly (Jocelyn) Nash and their children Landon and Keegan, Rickie Nash and her children Everett and Declan, Dwayne (Candace) Nash and their daughter Carrington, Mitchel (Amber) Nash and their children Aaliyah and Mistique, Brittany (Brad) Nessel and their children Paxton and Xander; Joe (Sally) Nash and their children Dallas (Ashley) Nash and their children Ryder and Harper, Travis (Rose) Nash and their children Blaze and Cruze and Brandon (Lovey) Nash; Val (Gord) Stubbs; Roger (Rhonda) Nash and their son Jonathan (Quin) England and their children Jade and Sawyer; Verna (Dwayne) Sparks and their children Mike (Megan) Sparks and their children Kinley and Branson, Kendall Sparks and Austin Sparks (Sydney Hooper); Steve (Jacqueline) Nash and their children Lauren, Sterling, Garrett Nash and Zach and Sarah Zimmer; sister Bernice Meaden; brothers Hugh (Sam) Allinson and Allan (Verna) Allinson;  brothers-in-law Laverne (Annette) Nash and Brian Nash as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her infant daughter Loretta, parents Joseph and Lima Allinson, brother Art and his first wife Gertrude and second wife Hazel, sisters Evelyn (Olaf) Flaterud, Irene (Lawrence) Foster, sister-in-law Florence Allinson, father and mother-in-law Ira and Ella Nash, brothers-in-law Vernon (Gladys) Nash, Patrick Nash and Melvin (Shirley) Nash.

A Celebration of Life was held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rosetown United Church. Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Orange Memories Care Home, P.O. Box 1900, Rosetown, SK, S0L 2V0.
