Gordon BALLENTYNE Obituary

Gordon was born in the Coxby, SK. district to Colin and Olive Ballentyne on February 22, 1936. He was the second youngest in a family of nine.

In 1973 Gordon came to make his home in Rosetown and was one of the first participants of the Wheatland Regional Centre.

He will always be remembered for his artistic talent, whether it be his artwork, woodwork or lego, and the special way that he greeted everyone with a wave, fist pump, touch thumb or special gesture. He will also be remembered for giving everyone heart attacks when he rode his bike down the middle of the road.

Gordon passed away peacefully on January 25, 2018 at the Rosetown & District Health Centre.

He is survived by his sisters Levona Ruttiman and Judy Badgley. He will be greatly missed by his Kinash House family, Clarke Jackson, Lorne Jackson, Ken Edstrom, Tim Dubrule and Perry Evans and his WRC family.
