James Wren Horton, son of the late Jack and Sarah Horton, was born on June 25, 1938 at Kindersley, SK. He passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in Saskatoon, SK, he will be sadly missed by many.
Jim is survived by his sisters Helen Dey of Swift Current and Bea (Jack) Perratt of Rosetown, 12 nieces and nephews and many greats. He was predeceased by his brothers Jack (Ethel) and Harry (Gladys) and his brother-in-law Jack Dey. Jim began his early years at Glidden, moving to Dodsland when he was four. He spent his school years there and then went to North Battleford to work at the sheltered workshop for a few years before moving to Rosetown where he spent many happy years.
A Celebration of Jim's Life was held on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosetown United Church with Reverend Jo-Ann Hills officiating.
