It is with great sadness the family of Kathleen Ann Peterson announces her peaceful passing on November 14th in Rosetown at the age of 88.
Great Kate as she was affectionately known was predeceased be her husband and soulmate Norman; her son-in-law Bill Reddick; her sisters June and Evelyn; and her brother Ted.
She will be dearly missed by her daughter Linda; son Terry and wife Debbie; son Keith and wife Carol; her grandchildren Bill Jr. (Shawna), Belinda, Jackie, Kristin (Matt), Kenton (Kate), and Kiel (Chantel). She had 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Kay enjoyed her Blue Jays baseball and curling bonspiels on TV. She will be sorely missed by all who were recipients of her newsy handwritten letters; two pages were never enough. You took a bit of our hearts with you Mom, but each of us knows how much you loved us. You and Dad are together again now. Love to you both.
A Celebration of Life was held at Shanidar Chapel, Rosetown, on Friday, November 17th, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Mr. Darby Freistadt presiding. Donations in memory of Kay made be made to Orange Memories Care Home (Activity Fund), P.O. Box 1900, Rosetown, Sask. S0L 2V0.
