It is with heavy hearts the family of Nina Flach announce her passing on October 5, 2019 at Rose Villa at the age of 94 years.
Nina was born in Saskatoon on May 14, 1925. She lived at Harris until she married Cecil Flach. They resided in Rosetown and Nina worked at a trinket store and at the Rosetown Motel. She resided a short time with her daughter Lorna in Biggar before moving into Rose Villa in Rosetown until her passing.
Nina served in the second world war where she was posted in Regina. She loved watching the Blue Jay’s play baseball, knitting and crocheting and loved watching the birds come to her feeders.
She was predeceased by her parents May and Fredrick King, husband Cecil Flach, brother Gilbert King, grandson Phillip Silbernagel and son-in-law Charles Silbernagel.
Left to mourn her passing are her children Ralph (Trudy) Ens, Anna (Alex) Silbernagel, Lorna Silbernagel, Amber (Joe) Gourlay and James (Cheryl) Flach, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at Shanidar Funeral Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Ray Martel officiating. Interment followed in the Rosetown Cemetery.
