Robert "Bob" Wayne BRAUN

Robert “Bob” Wayne Braun, age 75, entered Heaven's gates on Tuesday, January 8, 2019.  He passed away peacefully at the Rosetown & District Health Centre after a courageous battle with cancer.

Bob was born on May 8, 1943 in Saskatoon, SK.  He was known for his big laugh and his deep booming voice.  We loved hearing him sing and play his guitar around the campfire.  He enjoyed reading books and watching documentaries and sharing all that he learned.  He enjoyed playing and watching sports, particularly baseball and fastball.  Dad hated the cold so he especially loved spending his winters together with Mom in Yuma, Arizona where he would spend his days quading, visiting with friends, exploring the sites and keeping busy with renovation projects.

We will treasure the family camping trips, the life lessons and gatherings that were so important to him.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bob is survived by his loving wife and best friend Audrey; two sons Kim (Shona) Braun and Jay (Bonnie) Braun as well as his sister Shirley (Stan) Rosenfeldt. Papa is also survived by his six loving grandchildren Riley, Tanner, Kassidy, Mattaya, Emmerson and Jersey. Bob was predeceased by his parents Jacob and Ida Braun.

The family would like to say a special to thanks to all the nurses and doctors who aided Dad throughout his battle.

Evening Wake for Bob was held on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Rosetown Elks Hall, 816 Highway 4 North at 7:30 p.m. and the Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosetown United Church.
