Adella Anita LITZENBERGER

It is with sadness the family of Adella Anita Litzenberger announce her passing on July 14, 2024 at the age
of 77 years.
Adella was born on July 22, 1946 in Russell, MB to parents Emil and Frieda (nee Ruebke) Schuhmacher.
She was raised and received her education in Langenburg, SK. Adella met Edwin Litzenberger and they
were married on April 23, 1965. They were blessed with four children - Harold, Thelma, Arnold and Helen
and she was a wonderful mother and homemaker.
Adella was a detailed and creative person honing her many crafting skills throughout the years, she
enjoyed knitting and crocheting, was a talented seamstress sewing various items including beautiful quilts
and countless items of clothing, she loved dancing and was a member of the dance club where she and
Edwin met countless friends over the years and she had an appreciation for nature, enjoying camping and
growing various beautiful flowers in her yard. She was a beloved and dedicated member of St. Andrew’s
Trinity Anglican Lutheran Church and she was very involved in various ways throughout the years.
Adella was a kind person; she had a caring nature and she was always very considerate of others. She will
be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Adella is survived by her children and spouses Harold Litzenberger (Cathy McAnally), Thelma (Gordon)
Nicholson, Arnold (Selena) Litzenberger and Helen (Erik) Holmberg; grandchildren Amber (Dallas) Boyd,
Tyrel (Jenna) Litzenberger, Caisha (Tyrell) Zehya, Sarah Holmberg (Nick Harper) and Randy Holmberg;
great-grandchildren Maximus and Alhana Boyd and Rosa Somerville; siblings Karen (Charlie) Bodnar and
Anita Schuhmacher as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by
her husband Edwin, parents Emil and Frieda, in-laws Matthew and Elizabeth Litzenberger, brothers-in-law
Norman and Vern and sisters-in-law Mildred and Lois.
Donations in memory of Adella may be directed to the St. Andrew’s Trinity
Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1116, Rosetown, SK, S0L 2V0. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew's Trinity Anglican Lutheran Church in Rosetown, SK.
