December 23, 1920 ~ October 14, 2021 (age 100)

Obituary

Anna Louise Fink (née Carlson) of Eston passed from this life on October 14, 2021 at Rose Villa in Rosetown.

Anna was born December 23, 1920 in Outlook. Her parents farmed near Macrorie and later settled in the Snipe Lake area. She was the eldest of seven children and is survived by her sister Grace McBain of Salmon Arm B.C. Predeceased by her beloved husband Harry, her daughter Carolyn and son Walter, she leaves to mourn her daughters Sandra Marshall (Allan) of Leader and Brenda Fink of Saskatoon, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

In her younger years, Mom was very involved in the United Church teaching Sunday School and after school programs. Being the consummate homemaker, her home and family were the center of her life. Gardening was a passion and she created an oasis no matter where she lived. She was no stranger to hard work throughout her life and was always giving to others.

Devoted to her family and especially her grandchildren, she was accepting and loving to all, always listening and caring and ready to help in any way. Steadfast and stoic till the end, she has been dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Due to current COVID 19 concerns, no formal funeral service is planned at this time.
