Blair Everett FLATERUD

Blair Everett Flaterud of Beechy, SK passed away on April 23, 2022 in a tragic car accident at the age of 20 years.

Blair was born on May 15, 2001 to Arlo and Rachel Flaterud. He was raised on the family farm west of Beechy where he attended Beechy School from K-12 and continued on to Great Plains College for a short period taking a welding course. Blair had various jobs which led him to find his love for ranching at the Wilson Ranch north of Milden.

Blair loved the outdoors, music, his mom’s cooking and helping his dad around the farm. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family as his huge heart led him to be loved by everyone. Blair had a unique quirky nature, a loving and generous heart and a love of friendship. His outgoing personality reflected his love and laughter for life. Blair really enjoyed working with his cows on the family farm, quadding, gopher hunting, fishing and spending time with his dog Diesel. He loved to experience new things and take on new adventures.

Blair is survived by his parents Rachel and Arlo Flaterud of Beechy, SK; his sister Amanda (Paul) Pasternak of Foam Lake, SK; his brother Trent Flaterud (Jenna McDonald) of Swift Current, SK; his niece and nephews Kyra, Coby and Tristan of Foam Lake, SK as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Marcia and Edgar Dukes, paternal grandparents Iris and Harold Flaterud and cousin Daniel Fullerton.

A Celebration of Blair’s Life was held on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the Beechy Community Hall. Donations in memory of Blair may be made to the Lucky Lake Kinsmen, Beechy Elks or an Animal Rescue of Choice.
