Carol Louise (Paradis) McCONNELL

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Carol McConnell announce her passing on Oct 24, 2024, at Outlook Health Centre at the age of 80 years.

Carol will be remembered by her husband and love of her life, Donald, as a devoted wife with unconditional love. They had just celebrated 60 years of marriage on Sept 26th and together over those years they welcomed four children, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren with two more on the way, and three grandpuppers and one grandkitty.

Many get togethers with family brought a lot of laughter, love, good food, and card games that will be cherished as we remember what a beautiful, kind, and brave woman she was. Her motto was “nothing I can do about it” as she fought cancer four times in her life with such strength, dignity, and grace.

Left to remember along with Donald is daughter Chrissy and her children Cole (Rae) Lupul & Tanner (Stephanie) Lupul & great-granddaughter, Adaline with one on the way; son Trevor (Barb) McConnell and their children Chelsea McConnell (Wyatt Romanchuk) & Brayden McConnell (Kaylea Resch); daughter Jan (Kelly) Flaig and their children Summer & Kelton Flaig; daughter Carey (Warren) Prochner and their son Evan (Juliett) Prochner and great-granddaughter Haven with one on the way; sister Jocelyn (Ken) Adams and their children Chad Adams & Tarrah (Jon) Andrews with their children Kailey, Kade, Gage & Dani; brother Don and his children Dennis (Abby) Paradis and their children Jordan & Gracie and Allise Paradis; sister in law Laurie Paradis and Michael’s son Kent (Kristan) Paradis and their son Jaxen.

Carol was predeceased by her parents Charles & Elsie Paradis, brother Michael Paradis and nephew Grey Paradis.
