Charline (Bechard) MARTIN

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Charline Martin (née Bechard) on December 12, 2025 at the Eston Health Centre.

Charline was born to Lucille and Arnold Bechard on May 8, 1929 in Rosetown, Saskatchewan. She attended St. Joseph’s Convent in Rosetown. Upon graduation she moved to Toronto where she enrolled in Nursing graduating with her Registered Nurse in 1951.

On July 8, 1953 she married Bill Martin moving to the family farm at Eston. Charline nursed in Eston at the Eston Union Hospital and Eston Jubilee Lodge retiring in 1989. Charline enjoyed travelling and spending time with friends and family.  She especially loved playing cards her favorites being bridge and crib. 

Charline is survived by her son Dale (Rygen) and son Matteo; and son Ed (Monanne) and daughters Amanda (Damien) Evens, children Hayden, Cruz, Cole and Keira: Sabrina (Brayden) Meckling, children Rowen, Talon, Kya: Tessa (Brian) Wallace and her brother Denis Bechard, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, December 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Eston, SK.
