Dennis SMITH

Dennis Albert Smith was born in Rosetown, SK on July 5, 1942 and passed away peacefully on May 24, 2021. 

Dennis was raised on a farm South of McGee where he then lived, farmed and raised his children on this farm.  He later then moved to the Anglia area where he lived and farmed until his retirement into Rosetown.  Farming in the Rosetown area has always been a way of life and passion for Dennis.

He will always be remembered by his good friends and family that knew him to be a kind-hearted soul with a quick-witted sense of humor that made so many laugh!  He always enjoyed a good visit with his friends and family. 

Dennis will sadly be missed by his daughter Michelle (Cornell) Bond of Calgary, AB; three grandchildren McKenna, Kennedy and Mikhail Bond; son Trevor (Theresa) Smith of Calgary; sister Sharon (Hugo) Wiens of Herschel, SK; nephew Craig (Cara) Wiens and niece Heather Wiens. He will also be greatly missed by his very special partner Maxine Taylor; children Sherrie (Richard) Wilson; Kim (Ron) Wisse; Steven (Lisa) Taylor; grandchildren Carley (Cam), Cole (Jordyn), Kendra (Justin) McGonigal, Miranda and Gracie and great-grandchildren Eva, John, Nora, and Wells. Dennis was predeceased by his parents Evelyn and Albert Smith and brother Wayne of Rosetown, SK.

A private family service will be held. Donations in memory of Dennis may be made to a charity of choice.
