Donald Blair BODNARCHUK

Donald Blair Bodnarchuk was born October 21, 1961 in Biggar, SK and passed away on September 27, 2023 after a brief battle with cancer.

Don lived in Burstall, SK and was an active member of the community. He met many lifelong friends during his years on the drilling rigs. After retiring from Medicine Hat Gas where he was employed for 13 years, he helped around the Burstall Golf Course which started as a hobby and quickly turned into a passion.

Everyone who knew Don felt his big heart and his giving nature. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and gardening among many other things. He was a handyman and could fix anything his big, gentle hands touched. He had a special place in so many hearts and will be greatly missed.

Don is survived by his two children Chris (Courtney Larocque) and Desi (TJ Ritchie), his six grandchildren he adored - Ethan, Jordyn, Brooklyn, Gage, Kinsley and Madison, siblings Marie Boucher (Marcel), Kerry Bodnarchuk (Diane), Terry Bodnarchuk (Debbie) and Byron Bodnarchuk (Theresa) as well as numerous other extended family. He was predeceased by his sister Lynn and his parents Walter and Eva.

A Celebration of Life Luncheon will be held on Saturday, October 21 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at the Rosetown Elks Hall, friends and family are invited to share their memories and enjoy lunch with the family.
