EDITH SHEILA SONMOR
August 14, 1936 - October 13, 2022
It is time to say goodbye to the Momma, she has gone home to the angels. Such love little Edie had for humanity. All who knew her received the blessing of her golden heart, her little hands holding their face and recognizing their beauty. She is at peace holding Clare’s hand once again as her son Carl welcomes her home. Remember the blessings she brought with her baking and kind words. Momma would always say, “I just want to be me and that is enough” and that’s what she wants for all, so, be kind to one another and yourself as you honor this little lady and her golden heart.
Love from the children who chose her to be their mother - Colleen, Marion, Cindy, Gerald, Sheila, “Carl”, Carson and Shirley and from the grandchildren and great-grandchildren who each had a special place in her heart.
I may be gone but please don't cry
Death is not the last goodbye
Death releases me from my pain
There will come a day we will meet again
Don't be blue, don't be sad
Think of all the fun times we have had
I am always here, I hear you speak
In time of troubles, it's me you seek
You don't see me but I see you
I’ll do my best to pull you through
Speak to me and I will hear
Never far I’m always near
Be brave my family, do not cry
See you again, it’s not goodbye!
Memorial service to be held in the summer when the birds are singing and the flowers are blooming. Cards and bird houses welcome.
