Hannah Nicole Olivier was born on July 5, 2000 in Calgary, Alberta to Brad and Natasha Olivier. She lived in Calgary until she was four when her family moved back to Rosetown, Sk. She attended school at Walter Aseltine School and RCHS. While at RCHS, Hannah spent most of the winter at the curling rink practicing either on her own or with her team. In the summer she could usually be found in the water, whether that was at the lake or the pool. Fall meant that it was hunting season, Hannah’s happy time! She took her hunters safety course and couldn’t wait to go hunting. Gophers, deer, and bear, none of them were safe in her sights.
Hannah attended Medicine Hat College and received her diploma in Criminal Justice in 2021. While there, she started working as a security officer for the hospital in Medicine Hat. She soon realized that she wanted to be closer to home. She moved back to Rosetown to be near family and started working at Cargill. Once she returned to Rosetown, she started curling and speed swimming again as well as she joined the Rosetown Volunteer Fire Department. She was so proud to be part of the Fire Department, every time she spoke of it she lit up! She had recently applied to Saskpolytech in Saskatoon to become an EMT and was anxiously waiting for the letter to arrive to find out if she was accepted.
Hannah loved vehicles of any kind: trucks, cars, skidoos, seadoos, motorcycles… she had a passion for learning about different vehicles. She also loved animals and could often be found cuddling one of her dogs or cats. One of her favorite things though, was spending time with family members. Many hours were spent playing various games or just visiting.
Hannah was an honest, kind, furiously loyal, stubborn, fun loving person who would tell you the truth whether you wanted to hear it or not! Her friends and family loved and respected her and will miss her more than any words can ever express. The void is immeasurable to those she left behind.
Hannah is survived by: her parents Bradley and Natasha Olivier (nee Oliver), her brother Connor Olivier, Grandparents Dave and Lea Olivier, Phil and Debbie Oliver, and Marv and Fran Johnson, aunts and uncles Al and Carrie Brown, Todd and Tammy Midgett, Lyle and Jodi Slocombe, Tim Ashmore, Jessica Oliver, cousins Robert and Micaela Slocombe, Payton and Riland Brown, Braedan and Josalyn Ashmore, and Levi and Anders Midgett. She is predeceased by her aunt, Lisa Ashmore.
