Jack PERRATT

It is with deep sadness that his wife and family announce the passing of John (Jack) Perratt at the age of 94 years. Jack passed away at Orange Memories Care Home on December 11, 2021.

Jack was born in Saskatoon on August 21, 1927 enroute to Dodsland where he grew up and attended Norris School. Jack farmed in the Dodsland area until 2006 when he moved to Rosetown. Jack was a member of the Dodsland Lions, the Dodsland Legion and later the Rosetown Legion where he liked to keep the flowers watered and weeded. He served on the United Church board of Stewards and was a member of the Session. Jack always enjoyed his farming but in the off season, it was hunting, fishing, curling and helping with the Dodsland Dinner Theatre.

Jack is survived by his wife of 70 years, Bea, his daughters Joan (Ernie) Hamilton and Kari (Monty) Brody, his son Rob (Carol) Perratt, his sister Donella (Jim) Macmillan, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Douglas, siblings Helen Lewis, Mary (Harold) Morris, Jim (Betty) Perratt, Jean (Doug) Holt, his great-granddaughter Alexandra Hamilton Erickson and two of his special friends Jack Turk and Keith Aldridge.

The family would like to thank the staff at Orange Memories for their compassionate care.
