Jacob KLASSEN

Jacob Klassen was born June 29, 1922 and passed away July 6, 2023. He was the last surviving member of his family.

Jacob was predeceased by his wife Ann of 70 years, son Wendell, great-granddaughter Ariel, his three sisters and one brother, many nephews, his parents and in-laws. He is survived by his daughter Amy (Phillip) Parker, their children Tara, Travis and Jordon, daughter-in-law Helen and her children Ruth Anne, Matthew and Jonathon and 15 great-grandchildren.

Before he started farming, he was a bricklayer in Saskatoon. Most of his life was spent farming.

The family would like to thank the staff at Rose Villa for the compassionate and dedicated care they provided to Jacob over the years he spent there. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at the Rosetown Alliance Church with Pastor Tim Cadieux officiating followed by interment in the Brotherfield Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. Donations in memory of Jacob may be directed to the Rosetown Alliance Church or to the Rosetown & District Health Centre Foundation Inc. - Rose Villa.
