It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Judy Thompson of Rosetown, Saskatchewan on March 5, 2022 at the age of 75.
Judy is survived by her loving family; partner Milt Baker, three children, Don (Charlene) Thompson of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Elaine (Dave) Lane of Hope, British Columbia, Jackie (Stephen) Friedt of Osler, Saskatchewan, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, her brothers Ken Freethy and Bryon Medcoff and her many grand-puppies.
Judy's family were the most precious and cherished people in her life. She valued her relationships and the time she was able to spend with her many friends. Putting other people before herself was her greatest gift. Judy's high energy always kept her on the go, whether it be her running cars in her retirement, painting the house, trimming her hedges or caring for others. Her generosity, loving nature, fabulous sense of humour and stubborn personality continues to flourish through her children and grandchildren.
Judy was a proud member of The Royal Canadian Legion, and in honour of that, we ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Royal Canadian Legion, Rosetown Branch.
A come and go social was held at The Rosetown Legion Hall on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 2:00 p.m.
