It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kelsey Myers Forsyth after a long struggle with Parkinson’s and Dementia with his family by his side.
Kelsey was born on August 25, 1939 in Rosetown, SK to Milton and Flossie Forsyth where he remained all his life. Kelsey’s pride and joy were his family, he loved going to the field to help his son’s, Brad and Chad work on the family farm, even though in his last few years it was difficult. Kelsey also enjoyed working on vehicles in his spare time as well as spending time at the lake and fishing during the summer.
Kelsey is survived by his wife Alveria Forsyth, son’s Brad and Chad (Melanie), daughter Erin (Richard), grandchildren Troy, Amy (Chris), McKenzie, Kyle (Jaylene), Amber (Braydon), Ryley, Emid and Sarrah, great-grandchildren Madysen, Coltyn, Blake, Braiden, Jaxen, Carson, Cohen, Ada, Atticus and Dimitri as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Kelsey will be greatly missed - however, it’s not good-bye, it’s until we meet again.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a private immediate family graveside service will be held at the Rosetown Cemetery with Reverend Father Habila Musa presiding.
Those who wish to remember Kelsey with a donation may do so to the Alex Ositis Foundation, P.O. Box 1251, Rosetown, SK, S0L 2V0 or St. Paul’s Hospital Foundation, 1702 20th Street West, Saskatoon, SK, S7M 0Z9 with notation “Palliative Care - Kelsey M. Forsyth”.
