It is with shattered hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Kevin Healey on March 9, 2025 in Saskatoon aged 58. Left to mourn are his wife Sherri Healey; his children Taylor, Alexandra (Justin), Carter (Sairagh) and Matthew; grandson Mayson; mother Donna Healey; father and mother-in-law Kenneth and Frieda Paquette; sister Millicent (Ken) Leugner; brother Wesley (Colleen); brothers and sisters-in-law Rob (Joanne) Paquette, and Kevin (Christine) Paquette; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also left to mourn are Meaghan (Jacob) Stulberg and their children Aiden and Aubree who held a very special place in his heart.
Kevin was born on November 29, 1966 in Eston, Saskatchewan. He attended school in Eston and later moved to Rosetown, where he met and married his best friend and soulmate Sherri on June 26, 1999. Two families were blended into one with this union. Kevin loved his family more than anything.
He went on an agricultural exchange in 1988 to Tasmania. After returning, he worked at many jobs until taking a big step buying his own business, KevMar Machine and Welding. His true passion was farming and when he and Sherri were given the opportunity to farm the family land, he took it on with pride and passion. Nothing made him happier than taking off a good crop at harvest.
Kevin enjoyed and excelled at many sports. He loved watching his kids play their various sports, as well as watching Aiden and Aubree play hockey.
Sherri had recently retired and Kevin was planning on retiring next spring so they could spend more time with their family and have more free time for travelling, leisure activities and volunteering. Kevin had been volunteering at the Saskatoon Food Bank and loved it. He was really looking forward to his grandson arriving and was able to enjoy meeting him the day before he passed away.
He was known for his hard work ethic, as well as throwing a good party. He was always there to lend a helping hand for a stranger, neighbour, friend, or family. He lived his life to the fullest and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
A Celebration of Kevin's Life was held on Monday, March 17, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosetown Civic Centre.
