With heavy hearts the family of Lannell Annette Kleinsasser announces her passing on March 26, 2026 at the Royal University Hospital at the age of 71.
Lannell was born on January 28, 1955 in Kindersley, SK and was raised in Hoosier, SK. Known for her vibrant personality and artistic flair, Lannell was a woman who lived life out loud. You always knew where you stood with her, she was as honest and direct as she was generous and kind.
Her passions were many, she loved music, dancing and the energy of a good party or a local rodeo. However, her greatest joy was her family and her craft. Famously known for her incredible catering, Lannell’s baking and cooking were the heart of many gatherings, bringing people together through her talent and hard work.
Lannell is lovingly remembered by her husband Tom Kleinsasser; her children Morgan, Jen & Jason Fichter, Dylan & Melissa Kleinsasser and Lacey & Christian Nedjelski; her eight special grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Sheryl Loken, Tommy & Sylvia Goldsmith, and Georgie & Sheila Goldsmith.
She was predeceased by her parents Bill & Florence Goldsmith; her siblings Phyllis Sanderson, Lynn Bouchard and Ryan Goldsmith; and her brother-in-law Jim Loken.
A Celebration of Lannell’s Life will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at the Rosetown United Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Lannell’s memory to the Rosetown & District Health Centre Foundation Inc. Box 653 Rosetown, SK S0L 2V0.
