Lorne GODDARD

Lorne Goddard passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Rose Villa surrounded with love and family.

Lorne was born on June 2, 1931 in Cabri, Saskatchewan. Lorne married Shirley in 1955. Together, Lorne and Shirley welcomed 5 children to their family. Monty, Rhonda, Peggy, Darcy and Kevin. Lorne put on many miles as being a truck driver. He had a love for many hobbies throughout his years of playing darts, bowling and playing cards. Lorne competed in many dart tournaments and had a great success. Spending time with family at the lake was something he treasured.  Lorne made his final move into RoseVilla LTC in February 2021.

Lorne is survived by his wife Shirley and their children, Monty, Rhonda, Peggy, Darcy and Kevin, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his sisters Pat, Irene and brother Les. Lorne was predeceased by his parents, his brothers Allan, Dale and Leo.

His family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at RoseVilla who cared for Lorne for the last 3 years and Dr.Mojeed for all his care.

As per his wishes, a private service will be held at a later date.
