Lynda Diane (Fox) CLOSS

Lynda was born on July 30, 1949 in Cabri, Saskatchewan.  She was the youngest of seven children born to Leslie and Irene Fox.  Lynda was raised on the Fox family farm until her marriage to Larry Closs on October 9, 1971, where they later settled on the Closs family farm in Sanctuary, Saskatchewan.  Lynda and Larry were blessed with two children, Lana in 1974 and Lee in 1976.  Lynda spent most of her days caring for her family and helping on the farm when she could.  She enjoyed running after Lana and Lee with their sports and activities, volunteering at the rink, and seasonally working at O’hara’s Greenhouse.  When the kids were young, Lynda loved spending time at the Closs family cabin at Clearwater Lake, and once they graduated high school, she enjoyed her summers camping at Saskatchewan Landing with Larry and their friends, and her winters in Yuma soaking up the sun, playing wash shoes, and of course happy hour.  

Leaving to mourn are her children Lana (Nelson) Reddekopp and Lee (Dara) Closs, her grandson Easton Reddekopp, grandpuppy Maci, two bonus grandchildren Shadow and Cassidy Reddekopp, her sister Sharon Mathews, brothers Gordon (Karen) Fox and Dennis (Dianne) Fox, sisters-in-law Ina Fox and Marliss Edgar (nee Closs), along with many nieces and nephews.  

A family graveside service will be held at a later date.
