It is with great sadness that the family of Lynn Halter announce her passing on October 17, 2021, at the age of 72 after her third battle with cancer.  Lynn was born on December 5, 1948, in Dodsland, Saskatchewan.  Her parents were Archie and Flora Campbell.  She attended elementary school in Dodsland and high school in Plenty.  Upon graduation Lynn attended college in Saskatoon and later worked as a secretary at the Saskatoon Teachers Federation Credit Union.  On November 9, 1968, Lynn married Jim Halter.  In 1972 they built their home on the farm near Plenty where she lived until her passing.  In 1979 they adopted their oldest daughter Tina, followed by adopting their son Nathan in 1981.  A few years later they were surprised to find out they were expecting a child, their daughter Keri was born in 1986.

Lynn volunteered with many organizations within the community including Kinettes, C.R.O.P, the library board and school board.  She was always willing to lend help when needed. For over 30 years Lynn worked with her husband in all aspects of the farm; doing everything from running machinery to making meals to running the household.

Lynn had many hobbies including painting, scrapbooking, and reading.  She loved trips with her camper to various camping spots with her husband, children, and grandchildren, as well as many winter trips camping in Arizona with Jim.  Lynn loved travelling; over the years her and Jim visited many destinations including Hawaii, Mexico, Jamaica, Dominican, Las Vegas, Disneyland & Disneyworld.  She even went on three Disney Cruises!
