It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother and wife Marilyn Lizee on November 12, 2021 at her home in Elrose, Saskatchewan at the age of 66 years.
Marilyn was born on January 9, 1955 in Fillmore, Saskatchewan. She married the love of her life Marc Andre Lizee and they had two children. During her life Marilyn and Marc ran a private care home and took care of foster children in the town of Gravelbourg. In 1994, Marilyn moved her family to Saskatoon and continued her service there until her retirement in 2008. Marilyn and Marc both retired and moved to the town of Elrose and lived there until her passing.
Marilyn’s passions included gardening, baking, music, taking walks with her dogs and spending time with her family. She had a strong spiritual faith and is now watching over her family with her twin sister Marion.
Marilyn will always be remembered as a great wife, mother, auntie, grandmother and friend. She had a way of making you feel as part of the family with just a smile, hug or kind word. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Marc Andre Lizee, son Jason Lizee, daughter Carmen Lizee, granddaughter Hanna Prevost, grandson Corbyn Prevost, nephew Scott Earl (Melissa) and their daughter Mikka Earl, brother John Tumak (Donna), sister Eleanor Brown (Brian), sister Delores Ziggler (Ross), brother Raymond Tumak along with numerous nieces and nephews. Marilyn was predeceased by her parents father Carl Zelisko, mother Frida Tumak, sister Gladys Martin and twin sister Marion Earl.
The family would like to thank all our friends and family for their acts of kindness, prayers and sympathies during this time.
Funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.
