Murray "Bomber" FRERICHS Obituary

It is with sadness the family of Bomber Frerichs announce his passing on Saturday January 27,2024.

Bomber was born August 23, 1958 at the Rosetown Union Hospital He received his education in Rosetown. At age 11, driving with his parents their car was hit by a train. He did various jobs in construction in the area. Murray worked at Epp Motors and for a time he managed the bar in the Sportsman Inn. He also worked in Biggar at the Sask Pool Elevators.

On his way home from Cochin May Long weekend 1987, Bomber and three others in his truck had an accident that left him paralyzed from the chest down at the age of 28. After the accident, he was never without his dog. Sara, Dullie and Anthony were very protective of their master.

He lived in numerous houses in Rosetown until he purchased a house in Sovereign which became his permanent home.

Murray was an avid car enthusiast, he loved classic cars, he made a few trips to Lethbridge for Street Wheelers weekend and went to many car shows in the area.

He was predeceased by his parents Rich and Liz Frerichs and one brother-in-law Richard Clayton. He is survived by his siblings Richard (Dick) Frerichs, Wendy Clayton, Warren Frerichs and Brenda (Chris) Wandler, 12 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews and dear friends Robert and Glenna Venn.

A Celebration of Murray's Life will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Shanidar Funeral Chapel.
