Oscar Guemo DOLOT

Oscar Guemo Dolot Jr. passed away peacefully on October 17 2019 at the age of just 52 years old at the Royal University Hospital surrounded by his friends and family.

Oscar was born in Bacon, Sorsogon, Philippines on August 10, 1967 and moved to Rosetown, SK on April 25, 2014 to provide for his family.

He spent 27 years with his beloved and loving wife Jocelyn Peralta Dolot and sacrificed 20 years of his life to provide for his four sons Roin-j P. Dolot, Janpatrick P. Dolot, Dexter Lance P. Dolot and Oscar Paulo P. Dolot. Oscar Jr. was so happy when he became a grandfather to Shanaiah Janesse R. Dolot on November 25, 2018.

He was predeceased by his father Oscar Sr., mother Milda Dolot and siblings Edgard, Malou and Ricky and a host of other relatives and friends. Oscar was an extraordinary man, he was an amazing father, friend and husband. He was hardworking, dedicated and had the respect of everyone that knew him. He was known for his humor, always trying to make everyone laugh and always making jokes. He was kind and nurturing and never stopped working to provide for his family. He will truly be missed by his family, friends and his colleagues. As per his wishes, Oscar will be taken back to the Philippines and be buried in Bacon Sorsogon close to his parents and relatives.

A visitation for family and friends was held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Shanidar Funeral Services, 510 Young Street, Rosetown, SK. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday, October 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa's Parish, Rosetown, SK. with Reverend Father Habila Musa celebrating. Oscar's body will be returned to the Philippines where he will be laid to rest in his home community.
