Patricia Joan (Anderson) STEARNS

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Patricia Joan Stearns (née Anderson) at the Yorkton Regional Hospital on August 6, 2018 at the age of 78. 

Pat was born on July 25, 1940 in Rosetown to George and Dorothy Anderson. She attended all of her schooling in Rosetown, after high school she attended business college in Saskatoon. She returned to Rosetown for a year to work at Aseltine Law Office and following that year, she moved to Calgary to work for Mannix Corporation. 

She returned to Rosetown and married Lorne Stearns on June 24, 1960. They resided in Herschel and were blessed with five children: Tracey, Sandra, Tim, Graham and Ken. 

Pat worked on the farm with Lorne and later worked at the Heartland Motor Inn until her retirement. They moved from Herschel to Preeceville in 2001. 

She was predeceased by her parents George and Dorothy, brother Bruce and son Tracey. 

Left to mourn are her husband Lorne, children Sandra (Myles) Clayton, Tim (Marilyn) Stearns, Graham (Natalie) Stearns and Ken Stearns; grandchildren Michael Clayton, Leanne (Ben) Wilson, Terry Clayton (Daneca), Kevin (Kelsi) Clayton, Whitney Stearns (John), Laura Stearns (Ben), Alyssa Stearns and Haley Stearns; great-grandchildren Hana, Everett, Michael, Dharma, Henry, Ripley and Arlo, as well as her sister Berniece Anderson (Brendan). 

A private service will be held in Rosetown.
