The family of Sandra Elliott is heartbroken to announce her passing on June 14th, 2025, at St. Paul’s Hospital at the age of 83 years.
Sandra was born on September 13, 1941, in Milden, SK; the second daughter of Bert and Olive Jones. Growing up in Wiseton, Sandra had many fond memories of helping out at the family general store. Following graduation from the Wiseton School, she worked at the Wiseton branch of the Canadian Bank of Commerce. Sandra married Barry Elliott and they moved around the province for work. While they were together, they had two daughters; Pamela and Barbara. Sandra and the girls moved back to Wiseton and she began working as the Secretary - Treasurer for the Village of Wiseton. She was a loving caregiver for her parents in their senior years. Sandra was an active member of the community and Wiseton always held a special place in her heart. Sandra moved to Saskatoon in 2016 to be closer to her family. She thoroughly enjoyed the last nine years with her friends at Hector Trout Manor, in which she regularly participated in cards, shuffleboard, and pool.
Despite numerous challenges she was faced with in her life, she demonstrated true strength, bravery, and resiliency. Sandra will be remembered for her infinite love for her family, lifelong friendships, community driven spirit, quick wit, infectious smile, and pride in her 8 end-er in curling.
She will be forever loved and deeply missed by her family: daughter Pam Elliott (Fadil Bajrami) and their daughter Cheyanne; daughter Barb (Trevor) McConnell and their children Chelsea McConnell (Wyatt Romanchuk), and Brayden McConnell (Kaylea Resch); sister Marilyn (Ken) Dawe and their children Kory (Jeni), Steve (Jenny), and Trevor Dawe. She is also survived by nieces Sheila (Paul) Pajunen; Shelley Douglas; Carol (Keith) Peterson; as well as numerous great nieces, nephews, cousins and two grandpuppers, Buddy and Tex.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents Bert and Olive, sister Joylene, brother in law Gilbert McConnell, as well as infant brother Leslie Jones, and great niece Danielle Lowe.
A service will be held Monday July 7th, 2025 at the Wiseton Memorial Hall at 1:00 PM.
