Sybil (Morphy) CLAYTON

Sybil Ruth Edna Clayton passed away January 6, 2025 at the Elrose Health Centre.

Mom was born to Ben and Ruth Morphy on October 12, 1928. She had 8 brothers and 4 sisters.
She married Brian Clayton in 1950 and they lived in Harris for the first year and then purchased a farm near Herschel.
Mom worked first with Anna Tyson and then by herself as Municipal Secretary Treasurer for RM#318 from 1964 to her retirement in 1994.
Mom enjoyed curling and gardening when she was younger then bowling when she was older.
Mom was a member of the OORP for over 50 years and had become the Honored Royal Lady at one time. She was a long time member of the Ladies Legion Auxiliary and had become Provincial President of that organization. She was a devoted member of the UCW and the Seniors as well as several other organizations over the years.
Mom is survived by her children Tanis and Brett, grandchildren Kristin and partner Scott, Alexander and wife Maybe and sisters Gwen and Thelma as well as several relatives. 
Mom was predeceased in death by her husband, parents, brothers and 2 sisters along with other friends and relatives.
