Teri Lyne BROWN Obituary

It is with great sadness and heartache that the family of Teri Lyne Edna Brown announces her passing on April 27, 2023 at the age of 49 years at the Royal University Hospital.

Teri was born in Rosetown, SK on January 28, 1974 where she lived her whole life. Teri received her education at Walter Aseltine School and Rosetown Central High School. She was always a hard worker and started her first job at 14 years old working part-time at the Dairy Queen after school and later at the Husky Restaurant while still at Dairy Queen. From there, she became cook at the Esso Voyager Restaurant. When it closed, she went to work at Home Hardware until they closed their doors. She never had to look for a place to find work as the Co-op Home Center came to her. She had worked her way up to general manager at the Co-op Home Centre at the time of her passing. In any of her jobs, she was not just another employee but also a very good friend to all she worked with. I do not recall an angry or disappointed word from any of her customers. Everyone always appreciated her with anything they needed. Besides all of her regular jobs, she also did cleaning jobs around town - she cleaned at the Post Office, All West Sales and at the Legion Hall.

Teri loved all animals, especially cats. When she was small, instead of dressing her dolls she would dress her cats and push them around in the carriage.

As she got older, she enjoyed gardening and was very good at it. She had some of the most beautiful flower pots and beds in her garden and on her deck - they were the envy of many.

Teri leaves behind to cherish her memory her beloved husband and best friend Colin Campbell, daughter Hanna, stepson Sean (Jackie), granddaughter Katherine, parents Murray and Gaye Brown, brother Joel, mother and father-in-law Diane and Bill Campbell, brothers-in-law Greg (Rosa) and family and Joey (Alyssa). She will also be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a great many friends. Teri was predeceased by her grandpa Wes Brown, grandpa Joe Gowen, grandma Marg Gowen, brother-in-law Scott, cousin Darrell and uncle Dale.

A Come and Go Celebration of Teri's life was held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at the Rosetown Legion.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan, 200-4545 Parliament Ave, Regina, SK, S4W 0G3.
