Victor Romeo RONDEAU

Victor Rondeau, a beloved husband to Frances, father to Rob, Greg, and Vanessa (Spearn), grandfather to Hailey Spearn, Julia Spearn, Holly Rondeau, Reese Rondeau, and Dylan Rondeau, brother to Arlene (Riendeau) and Mary (Riendeau), and son of Romeo and Bessie Rondeau, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2024, leaving a legacy of hard work, family devotion, and community service.

Victor was born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan in 1940. He pursued his academic ambitions at the University of Saskatchewan, earning his Bachelor of Arts in 1961 and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1964. During his time at the university, he served as a departmental assistant in the Biology Department from 1963 to 1975, leaving a lasting impact on both colleagues and students.

On July 15, 1963, Victor married the love of his life, Frances Roy. Together, they built a life rooted in family values while raising their three children.

In 1975, Victor and Frances made Rosetown their permanent home, devoting themselves fully to farming. That same year, Victor began his service on the local school board, and then serving on the Rosetown School Division Board from 1978 to 1988.

Victor and Frances retired from farming in 2007. To fill his time, Victor was a collector of many things, including teacups and items from his various adventures. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
