Linda, Terry, Keith and families. So sorry to hear of Aunt Kay's passing, she was such a special person, with a kind and loving heart! Melanie mentioned her being the connection to the Peterson side for her, she also played that role in my life, she was the one who kept us connected.  I like many others will miss the letters, that she and "Arthur" penned together.
She loved her family and was so proud of all of you.  May your memories give you comfort!!

I’m always at a loss for words when a parent passes away.  We miss them them no matter their age. I have the best memories of your mom and dad! Of course I sat at the dinner table a lot of Wednesday nights. They were good friends to my family and I have some great memories of our times together. Our thoughts are with you all and your families.

Just received the news of Aunty Kay's passing and I can only think how lucky I was to have had her in my life. Her warm personality, loving heart, sense of fun, gentle grace, humor, hospitality, and positive attitude were a gift to all of us who knew her and were loved by her. For me, she was a true role model and she possessed a quiet strength that was an absolute inspiration. When our family was touched by tragedy that was almost too immense to bear, she and Uncle Norm were just "there" to offer their support and encouragement in subtle ways that really mattered.
I have wonderful memories of Peterson family visits and Aunty Kay was always a vibrant presence whenever we got together. In latter years, as more and more of our Peterson loved ones passed on, she remained the tie that bound us together..........her and Arthur!!!! I am going to miss that very much!
I have no doubt that she is at peace, and somewhere she and Uncle Norm are dancing the Schottische!
To my cousins Linda, Terry and Keith......... Love and peace to all of you. Never doubt how much she loved you and how much joy and pride you gave her.
Treasure the memories!!
Love, Sheila and Conrad ( Yaremko)

Linda,Terry, Keith and families.  I am deeply saddened to hear of Kay's passing. She and your Dad were such good friends of my parents and she was like a second Mom to me.  When I was younger I spent a lot of time with them when my parents were off to Case conventions. After I married and moved away, you could be assured of a big bear hug whenever Kay saw me or my family. I enjoyed getting back to Rosetown to have a visit with your Mom. It was like no time had passed since we last saw each other. I was one of those fortunate ones that received that wonderful Christmas letter and will miss hearing all the news of her family. She was so proud of all of you. She was a wonderful lady and I will miss her. Hugs to you all. Barb Currie

Linda, Terry, Keith and families,  Auntie Kay was a wonderful, wonderful lady.  Every December 4 (on dad's birthday) she and "Arthur" would write me a lengthy Christmas newsletter telling me what the Petersons were up to...she was always our connection to dad's family and I will miss those letters.  I am so glad Les and I stopped to visit with her in August.  Your mom was a true gem and I loved her very much.   Sending love to you all.  Just imagine the dancing going on with all the family gathered around the piano/organ/violin.... She will be missed.
